What Is 5 Minute Profit Sites?
When you visit its website, you’ll be greeted with the following message:
5 minute profit sites is a system that promises you some kind of secret software that can create a highly profitable website under 5 minutes and 17 clicks, hence the name. Then they say that you’ll need to work about 23 minutes per day to see results.
The claim sounds really good, unfortunately, nothing in life is that easy. If it was, everyone would be doing it.
To be honest, these are very unrealistic and hyped up claims. While it’s possible to make $500 a day, but more than just 23 minutes per day of effort is required to see success.
In their sales video, they show you a ton of income proof and they tell you how shocked they are to be making that kind of money with their amazing software.
I am very shocked to learn how ridiculously misleading they are with the income claim so they can lure innocent people into their sales funnel.
I will actually proof it to you that their income claims are fake in this review.
How Does 5 Minute Profit Sites Work?
Above is the screenshot I took after entering the member’s area. It shows you 3 main steps to do to get your website set up.
Let me explain to you the website setup process in more detail:
1. Sign up for a ClickBank account
2. Connect your ClickBank account into their software
3. Select a domain name for your website from their recommended list
4. Sign up for Aweber, an email autoresponder
5. Connect your Aweber account into their software
6. Your website will be ready in a few minutes
These are the steps you are expected to complete to build an affiliate marketing website.
I find it hilarious when they they say this is a simple looking "website," but the potential is huge. I'll put a big question mark at it for the moment! In a few minutes, you will know why.
I will show you the problem with this simple looking "website" along with 10 other ugly truth about the system shortly.
What Products Does 5 Minute Profit Sites Sell?
Five Minute Profit Sites Software (FMPS)
- This software costs $37. Depending on the sales page you view. You are able to get the 7 day free trial on sales page exit. That's the one I signed up with. And then $7 monthly subscription fee after the free trial.
- After I signed up for the FMPS Software, I was immediately bombarded with all of their upsells one after the other, a total of 3 upsells.
1st Up-sell: FMPS Faster Profits
- It was $297, then $197. If you don't buy when it's offered at $197, then they give you a $50 discount on page exit. The final price is $147.
- It promises to build you a bigger and faster profits, 100% Done-For-You website that's fully equipped with sales video presentation, unique articles, and product reviews.
- You will also get affiliate links and dedicated one-on-one support.
- They also promise you a free hosting on faster server and free domain name.
In the sales video, they clearly said and did a demo with their Free software showing you how they created a brand new ClickBank account and then a week later they made thousands of dollars.
So, why would you need to purchase this product to help you make money faster when you can already make thousands within a week with the free software?
Doesn't that raise some red flags to you?
2nd Up-Sell: FMPS Double Your Profits
- This product costs $187.
- It gives you the option to get a niche website outside of “make money online” what is offered for the basic website with the FMPS Software.
- The truth is you'll NOT able to choose your own niche, instead, you'll only be able to choose a niche from their list.
3rd Up-Sell: FMPS Traffic Tsunami
- This product was priced at $147 and sells for $97.
- It promises to give you a step-by-step blueprint you can copy to get a Tsunami of targeted traffic to your website.
- I personally think this should have been included in the basic package because traffic is the lifeblood of any business. No traffic = no business = no income.
- In the 10 ugly truth revealed below, I will talk more about the traffic sources they offer, and why some of them won't work.
Five Minute Profit Sites 10 Ugly Truth Revealed!
1. Private Video
5 minute profit sites claims their video is private and exclusive. They tell you not to share this private video with anyone. Really? I don’t think so.
You simply go to their website and watch it. Their sales video also appeared on several other YouTube channels. So how is the video private?
This is an advertising tactic used to make 5 minute profits sites special as well as to make you feel special.
It’s trying to make you feel as if you are the only person that’s discovering the secret to making lots of money.
This is just a way to get the attention of innocent people who don’t know any better so they can sell you their product much easily.
2. Live Demo
They lied about the live demo.
All of the videos on 5 minute profit sites are prerecorded videos.
There are NO live demo videos.
3. Unknown Owner
The sales videos are narrated by someone named Sam Smith. She is not the creator of 5 minute profits sites. She is just a paid actress reading from a script. I really doubt that she has anything to do the 5 minute profit sites.
This is a common strategy scammers use. It’s a way to keep their identity safe so they can save their reputation.
I don't see integrity and transparency with this company. And it’s never a good idea to invest in a company that refuses to tell who they are. There is a high risk that they might just take your money and disappear, which has happened to people.
4. FREE FMPS Software?
FREE? Yeah right!
Take a look at the screenshot provided above, on the headline, it says “enter your email to get a free license.”
Now look below the yellow button, it says “only $37.” And just below the “only $37, it says “NOTE: your license to use the FMPS Software (RRP $497) is FREE!”
Why would they say it’s a free and then charge you $37? Seriously, they've just contradicted themselves right away.
I couldn't believe it when I saw that. They must be joking!
Well, $37 dollars is just the beginning, because this software will NOT make you the kind of money they show you in the "live Demo," there is more upsells…
Remember the products I mentioned earlier... yep, they will bombard you one after the other immediately after you sign up for the "FREE" software...
I am not against upsells. Upsells aren’t always a bad thing. If they deliver a ton of value, then it's totally fine.
But if they don’t offer much value and their only intention is to sell you more products so more money goes into their pockets, then it's definitely something you want to stay away.
5. Fake/Unrealistic Income Claims
The incomes you see in the sales page are simply fake and unrealistic.
I’ve never heard of a website built with a software in 5 minutes can make you $519 per day. That is ridiculously misleading.
Take a look at the screenshot above. This comes from a section of the sales video where they create a brand new ClickBank account on the 16th of January.
You can see it's $0.00. Then a week later, they log into the account and show you the income proof from Jan 19 to Jan 22.
This is just simply not possible. There is no way that a brand new website to be making that much money in a few days.
Honestly even if you spend a ton of money on paid traffic, there is still no guarantee that it’s going to make you that much money.
It takes months, if not, years of experience to do well in paid ads.
For a beginner, it’s going to be really hard and it’s going to cost you a lot of money on paid traffic, and then you have to hope to make more money than you spend.
Making money from a website is going to take a lot of time and effort to generate a substantial income.
I remember blogging on my first website for 4 months before I made any money. And it wasn't even anything substantial.
I am sorry to tell you that there is NO way you can make that kind of income like the ones they show you in the sales video working 23 minutes per day. It takes way more effort than that.
There is another section of their sales video where they show you another income report. In the screenshot above, you can clearly see their income is made as a vendor, and not as an affiliate.
So they even lied to you about their affiliate income reports! These fake income claims are used to get you to think the only way to be making that kind of money is to get their secret software.
6. Your 5 Minute "Website" Is NOT Really A Website
After purchasing the 5 minute profit sites, I was directed to download their software that helps to build your website.
I was hesitant to download it initially because you don’t really know what else comes with the software. Virus or some other things that can harm your computer? Who knows?
Fortunately, I was able to test this out and download the software in my old computer. Thank god, everything was fine 🙂
As I was building my website, I honestly was expecting a normal looking website like my current website. Unfortunately, they didn’t deliver what they promised.
Instead, I was given a simple landing page with a sales video and an opt-in button to send people off to other low quality ClickBank products.
No wonder, it only took me 5 minutes to build a “website.”
7. Lacks Quality Training On Traffic Sources
They have video tutorials that teach you how to get traffic or visitors to your site. You would have to buy the FMPS Traffic Tsunami product to gain access, which is the 3rd upsell that costs $97.
Some of the traffic sources they teach you are outdated.
The traffic method included are:
1. Solo Ads (6 videos)
2. Article Marketing (4 videos)
3. Guest Blogging (3 videos)
4. Forum Marketing (2 videos)
5. Blog Commenting (2 videos)
6. Press Release (4 videos)
These training videos are presented by someone named Chris. Not sure if he is the founder. I wasn't able to confirm that.
Anyways, some of these traffic sources such as article marketing, (submitting articles to Ezine, article directories), forum marketing and press release are outdated and not so effective in this day and age.
When I was going over their training, I couldn’t believe some of stuff they teach people.
They teach you how to do press release so that a news reporter would pick up your site and makes it go viral. I can guarantee you that no news report is going to pick up that kind of site.
They even teach people to spam other people’s website through blog commenting. This is the worst thing to do. Not only that it won’t work, you will also waste a lot of time and energy doing that.
They talk about how blog commenting and press release are good for search engine optimization (SEO) because you get backlinks. That is a bunch of nonsense right there.
The only effective traffic source is solo ads. But the problem with solo ads is that it’s not too beginner friendly. It is quite expensive as well. If you don't know what you are doing you will end up losing a lot of money.
It would be beneficial if they included a traffic strategy that teaches you on how to get ranked on Google so you can get free targeted traffic coming to your site.
I am actually not surprised why they don't provide that training.
You see, these sites (landing pages) are not going to get ranked on Google because Google hates sites that provide little to no content.
I am sure 5 minute profit sites knows that too. So why would they even bother teaching you on how to get ranked on google when these sites don't even have a chance rank.
8. You Don’t Actually Own The Website.
The website you build with FMPS will be hosted on their server.
It’s never safe to host your website on other company’s server, especially that this company is not all that transparent and they even lied on the price of their product and the income claims.
I’ve heard and known some people worked really hard on their free website only to find out they are gone because their company shuts down.
The domain given by the system are NOT yours either, they belong to the FMPS owner. If the company shuts down or if they decide NOT to renew their domains, then you will be at risk for losing your site.
In order to have control over your website, you have to have your own website. This means you have to get a domain name from companies like godaddy or namecheap and hosting service such as bluehost or hostgator.
That's the only way that you will have a total control over your website.
If you have never build a website and not sure how to get started, there is a training platform where I learned about how to set up my own website.
9. Hidden Cost
Wouldn't it be nice if they told you in their sales video that you are going to have to spend money on Aweber? This is an email autoresponder service.
Of course, they won’t tell you that until you sign up. I honestly felt lied to because I thought it was included with the $37 software.
So, if you are currently using other autoresponder service, you wouldn't be able to create your site unless you have an Aweber account.
The good thing is that Aweber service is not that expensive. They even offer a 30 day free trial. After that it costs $19 per month depending on their plan.
Despite that Aweber is not that expensive, I still felt that they should've told you that in the first place.
10. You Will Be Promoting Other Junk Products On Your "Website"
So you have your site set up ready to go. Do you know what kind of product you will be promoting on your site?
You site is simply used to promote other low quality ClickBank products including some scam products, specially in the “make money online” niche.
I don’t think that’s a good way to start your online business that has the potential to put your reputation at risk.
Pros & Cons Of Five Minute Profit Sites
There is no perfect system out there, even some of the great systems have flaws. So with every product I review, I always try the things I like and the things I dislike.
- Free 7 day trial on sales page exit.
- When you try to leave the sales page, you will be redirected to a page that offers 7 day free trial.
- I like the fact they give you a chance to try it out to see if you like it before you spend any money.
- They offer 60 Day Money-Back Guarantee
- Since I did the free trial, I am not sure if they really honor that guarantee.
- They can build a site (landing page) within 5 minutes
- They don't have fake testimonial videos
- They have some useful training in the member's area
- Additional cost for Aweber autoresponder service
- Focus mostly on outdated traffic sources
- Paid traffic (not suitable for beginners)
- They don't provide organic traffic training
- Too much hyped up claims
- Lack integrity and transparency in their sales videos
- You site will be used to promote other scam products from ClickBank
- Customer Service is not responsive
- They say they will get back to me within 1 business day, but it has already been 3 days since I emailed them. This is never a good thing.
- The cons also includes everything mentioned in the 10 ugly truth revealed
Can You Make Money With 5 Minute Profit Sites?
I believe you can make money with 5 minute profit sites, but it's very unlikely that you will be making anything substantial like they show you in their videos.
I like the fact that they do provide training on solo ads. So if you decide to join 5 minute profit sites, solo ads is definitely one of the effective ways to drive traffic to your site and the fastest way to build an email list and business.
In fact, out of all traffic sources taught in their training, solo ads is the only one I recommend. Others are too outdated.
You simply pay a solo ads vendor to drive traffic to your site and every time someone buys through your site, you will get a commission.
Since you can not get free traffic through the search engine, you will always have to pay to get traffic to your site.
If you are just starting out, have zero online experience, you could end up losing a lot of money if you are not doing it carefully and correctly.
I am not trying to discourage you trying out solo ads, but to let you know what to expect.
Of course, once you master the skill and know exactly what you are doing, then you can definitely make some money. But like I said earlier, it's unlikely that you will make the amount they show you in the video because that income proof is not real.
Is 5 Minute Profit Sites A Scam?
In my opinion, it's not exactly a scam.
Here is why.
Despite the fact they lied about many things, the fake income claims, the price about the product and other things.
They still deliver what they promised, and that is to build a site for you in 5 minutes and 17 clicks, but the site is not any useful after that. You have to learn how to promote them in order to make money.
The good thing is they still offer some helpful information and the solo ads training to help you make money, so I wouldn't exactly call it a scam.
Do I recommend 5 minute profit sites?
A big NO, there are too many red flags, the lies and the fake promises about this system. I would not recommend you buy their product and promote it to other people just to make money for yourself.
There are many ways to make money online, I definitely would not recommend this system to anyone.
My advise to you is stay far away from this system. Of course, you don't have to take my words for it.
You are certainly welcome to check out 5 minute profit sites yourself. Ultimately the choice is yours. I am simply here to provide you my honest and unbiased review about them.
Although I could totally write an extremely biased positive review about them to make some money.
I wouldn't do that because I am here to build a long term business, and it would be silly for me to fake this review just so that I can make some money.
